First snow of this season, I'd forgotten how quiet snow is, Sun hadn't risen at this point but I'd been awake for 2 hours lying in bed listening to the silence!

Looks so beautiful but at times so inconvenient. I had to cry off my workshop in Stone when I woke t 6 am to 6 inches of snow which meant hat no-one could get up or down our road. They didn't even have any over there!

The lane is now compact snow so a sheet of ice for 3/4's of a mile leading to a totally clear main road
